Our first-ever West Sacramento Youth Climate Summit is happening this October! The theme of this year’s summit is “Rising Voices: Centering Equity in Climate Action”
This youth-led, one-day event will bring together students, local advocates, and community leaders for a day of networking and fun! Important topics will be explored like urgent environmental issues and amplify youth-driven solutions. Attendees will engage in inspiring panels, hands-on workshops, and interactive activities designed to spark action and collaboration.
The summit will also feature a youth art competition and community project showcase where participants can share their creativity and ideas for building a sustainable future. Plus, there will be fun community activities like raffles, scavenger hunts, and puzzles throughout the day.
We’re making this event as accessible and welcoming as possible —FREE admission, food, and refreshments (including pizza and boba!) will be provided to all attendees.
Whether you’re a student, educator, or community member, this summit is your chance to learn, connect, and take action for a better future.
