This world-class museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world—why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today. Through interactive exhibits, personal histories, soaring aircraft displays, and more, the museum offers an experience that is both educational and moving.
The centerpiece of the museum, Campaigns of Courage: European and Pacific Theaters, immerses visitors in the story of how the war was won. Two major exhibits—Road to Berlin and Road to Tokyo—use environmental design, narrated videos, period newsreels, interactive kiosks, and authentic artifacts to guide you through each theater of combat.
You decide how long to spend exploring. When you’re ready for a break, visit the on-site American Sector Restaurant + Bar or enjoy 1940s-style entertainment at BB’s Stage Door Canteen (food and drinks at your own expense).
