Visit us in-person at our office building for a self-guided tour diving even deeper into the beautiful murals on the exterior of our building! Each stroke of paint tells a story of the journeys of the many social justice advocates who came before us.
On the walls of our building on Lafayette Street stand breathtaking tributes that portray iconic figures such as Rev. James Lawson and also include murals created by artists Charles Key and Omari Booker. Scan the QR codes to learn more about each mural!
Parking: Enter from the Fairfield side, and parking is available on the Lewis side of the building. Overflow parallel parking can be found behind the building. Please be mindful of any posted restrictions.
Restrooms: Gender-neutral restrooms are accessible only during TJC's operating hours (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM)
If you would like to schedule a tour guided by a TJC staff member, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate! Please note that tours facilitated by TJC staff members are only available on weekdays.
