Leave the bustle of New Orleans behind and speed into the wild Louisiana swamps on this exhilarating airboat ride. Journey along the Mississippi River to your embarkation point and board either a large airboat (15–25 passengers) or a small, premium airboat (6–8 passengers) for a more intimate experience.
Your 1 hour 45 minute guided tour takes you across a 20,000-acre cypress swamp near Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, where you can spot alligators, turtles, snakes, egrets, herons, ibis, and—if you’re lucky—hawks, owls, bald eagles, and even white-tailed deer in cooler months. Your captain may feed the gators for close-up photo opportunities, and you’ll also find indoor exhibits, including a rare albino alligator.

Hotel pickup option: Pickups begin 1 hour 15 minutes prior to your tour time. Look for a white shuttle bus with a red logo.

Self-drive option: Please follow these directions—Do not turn on Fleming Park Rd. Instead, turn right on Texas Street (next right).
Driving from New Orleans: Take US Business 90 West, cross the Mississippi River, exit at 4B, and follow posted directions to Jean Lafitte Blvd, then Texas Street.
